Thanks to all of you who ran and those who helped this morning in making it a very successful event. I just told Paul that we will be able to give the Hope Clinic a check for $3000! Jodi, your Photos of the event were awesome. I am posting them in Flickr right now. http://www.flickr.com/photos/78130044@N08/sets/72157629604829415/ Have a great weekend.
Brad, that was one of the nicest running events I’ve been a part of! What a fun day, great course, great people. You did an outstanding job. So happy for the Hope Clinic! Thanks for all you did.
The pictures are great! Katherine is beautiful.
Brad- Great event, I think you missed your calling. Dr.??? Na, Race director! That has a nice ring to it.
Jodi- I can see you being trail runner of the year… as a photographer of course.
Katherine- you can be volunteer of the year. and best supporting daughter- to put up with a dad like that!?!?! you are an all-star! (you too Kristine).
Natalie- nice finish! to see your face holding off that girl, damn good stuff.
Brad made enough money to donate $3k to the Hope Clinic, pay himself back, drop $275 into the Chill Run club acct & still have enough to give $25 for the clock. Nice work!
Thanks to all the volunteers from the hospital who handled the registration.
Was that the biggest Chillicothe race ever, other than Larry Cox? I agree, Brad has a future as a race director if he gets tired of his day job. I’m a little biased towards the Hope Clinic, but I think selecting that charity was key in getting the event maximal exposure as well as more volunteers. Good choice, Brad!
Paul, thanks for putting Katherine to work while Scott and I ran (and walked, and limped, and whined, and sulked).
Scott is now shopping for sport kilts (don’t ask)for next year’s race so apparently has not given up on the running thing. Angus’s dad said he’s going to play the bagpipes there next year. And didn’t Angus look great??!
That was an awesome race weekend….I’m just glad I kicked up the speed at the end so I didn’t get passed, and a little help from the polls is always good.
. I said I would post for the weekend mileage and we have a short 12 miler….going to have to get it done on Saturday though….any takers?
Hey, Natalie. Have you talked to Kristine about the trails? What time are you going tomorrow? I’d be interested in part or all (depending on the night.
Haven’t talked to Kristine yet. I’ll give her a call…..probably 6 tom. I can go whenever really
great run, Kristine. Scioto Trails is the place to be this time of year! Anyone showing up tomorrow?
Great trail run next month.
50k or 50 miler on the 18th & a 5k or 5 miler on the 19th. May.

Should be a great run!
Trails- the best way to run!
Other racing options — Allen Elementary Running Club is putting on their first 5k Saturday 4/28 at 9 am, at the high school. Course is around the park etc.
Lets not forget about the triangle trail 1/2 marathon & 5k on the 21st. Starts in Frankfort, out & back on the bike path.
Kristine- did you get any goods at the swap/trader days?
local 5k race this weekend. Check with Kristine for details!
5K, for Allen Pto/running club. Saturday at 9 am at CHS. Also a 1 mile fun run. Paul, the husband chaperoned my trader days trip so couldn’t get anything good (i.e. critters).
Kristine- Scott was flying tonight on our run! what did (or didn’t) you do to him?
Anyone interested in a Great Seal trail run this weekend? I have a nice 5-6ish mile route… 6ish not like tracey’s!
great run yesterday at the Great Seal! Thanks, Paul. That might be my favorite trail out there, yet!
I agree. It’s perfect, especially the weather the way it was. We need to hit up Kristine & Scott for another tour of their trails/hills.
No doubt. Let’s get a Hocking date soon…maybe T-race can join us now that she’s slowed her pace
and… what about (der-der-der) Jen?!
Of course my BFF can/will join us. She can show us all how to get down hill the swiftest.
Damn straight I can and will! The only way to go down a hill! Most likely either during the week or on a friday possibly a sunday are the days after may12th I can come down and run. Im not in great running shape though so dont leave my ass!
Jen! Just was reminiscing about you this week —was telling my husband about your downhill technique when he and I were out doing trails this week. He was having a hard time keeping up so I was trying to make him feel better with tales of other trail runners’ challenges…ANYHOW, it’d be great to see you again! Y’all could come down to Scioto Trails and run, we’ve just got a few little hills that Jen will hardly notice.
Kristine- When is a good time to hit your trails? Get your wimpy hubby to volunteer for some if not all of the tour.
Trails up!
Hey Kristine I ran today and went down a big hill and dert da dert the whole way down! I hope to come down this week if possible you guys can meet during the week but if its a weekend it will have to be the weekend of may 25th. Let me know what works for ya all.
My bff back in da hizzy!
yeah yeah yo! Everyday Im shufflin! : )
Nice trail run this fall, September at great seal… 25k, 50k, 75k & 100 miler.

Paul, Jen, anyone else– trails on Sunday? Y’all can come down here and help me de-flag the trails after the trail ride Saturday (if you don’t mind a little horse poop)
I won’t make it down sunday for trails. Whose house can I stay at one night during the week to get up and do a run with everyone? My weekeneds keep getting filled up and time is tickin before I move.
